Background:

Municipal Judge City of Parkville, Missouri for 25 years.  Past President of the Clay County Bar Association, Member Clay County Bar, Platte County Bar and Kansas City, Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Court Judges Association. Annually attends Municipal and Associate Judges Court Conference.

Sandra has engaged in many trials in the three county area as well as other areas of the state. She has appeared in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District of Missouri. She has successfully tried many types of cases including real estate, criminal, domestic, landlord, tenant, liens and others. She has many years of experience in Wills, Trust, Probate, Guardianship, Business Representation, Bankruptcy and Domestic Relations. She has handled criminal actions involving Municipal and State courts for many years and from both sides of the bench as a part time Judge.

Community activities include Soroptimist International of KC Northland, formerly on North Kansas City Hospital Board, Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA president Park Hill School District, Parkville park committee chair, and many other activities.

Founder of Tri County Mental Health, Chair of Clay, Platte, Ray Mental Health Board.

Married with two adult children and four Grandchildren. Husband Marvin, son Mark (a practicing attorney and Municipal Judge, City of Riverside, Missouri), Daughter Haley (works with the practice). Interests grandchildren, family activities, horses, fishing and hunting.

Background:

Currently practice law with my wife and Partner in North Kansas City for over 25 years focusing on business and commercial law, nursing homes and other commercial and individual interests.

Accountant with Arthur Anderson, practiced at Jackson, Wade and Barker, managed North Kansas City Development Co. which had extensive commercial, apartment and business holdings in North Kansas City, Jefferson City and other areas. Former President of NKC Chamber, Northland Chamber, member of Kiwanis, member and Mayor Pro Tem of City of Parkville, Mo., Board of Aldermen for over 25 years and on many committees. Primary focus on real estate and real estate development throughout many years. Still active to advise other attorneys and clients.

Have served on Parkville Board of Aldermen in many capacities including mayor pro tem. Presently appointed by the Governor of Missouri to serve on the Platte County Board of Elections.

Background:

Since receiving his license to practice law in 1986, Arthur has been actively involved in litigation, having tried over 40 jury trials, primarily in the areas of employment law, civil rights and personal injury. While employed by Jackson County, Missouri he represented the various departments including Parks, Public Works, Facilities Management, Sheriff’s Office, Corrections Department, Medical Examiner’s Office. As Deputy County Counselor he was the Chief Municipal Prosecutor for Jackson County’s municipal court.

While employed with the engineering firm of Black & Veatch, Arthur dedicated his time to drafting, negotiating and reviewing engineering and construction contracts in the public and private sectors, both in the U.S. and internationally. He continues to be a Guest Lecturer at the University of Kansas Graduate School of Architecture in the class “Law for Design Professionals.” Since his return to private practice he has been involved in civil matters ranging from employment law, personal injury and litigation; and in criminal matters ranging from simple traffic to complex felonies.

Formerly Jackson County Attorney for over 15 years. Now engaged in private practice and working part time for Ferguson & Ferguson, LLC.
